In two shades of brown, made with textured leather, this vintage Brahmin crossbody purse is so handy. It has a front secure pocket for your credit cards, cash and driver's license. Inside there is an attached key chain holder and slots for your pens, plus an inside pocket with a zipper. The classic neutral brown color and style are bound to bring compliments your way. For the main body of the bag the leather is medium brown, for the strap, the bottom edge and the finishing strips it is crocodile embossed two-tone.
You will be thrilled with the ease of entry for your credit cards and driver's license, which are readily available in their slots right inside the front zippered compartment, as shown in the detailed inside photo. There is room for at least six credit cards, plus your photo ID.
In addition, that front zipper top compartment has space for paper paper money, in either the side pocket or the inside open area.
On top of that front compartment there is another zippered front section that is flat and deep. A photo of that is shown in the fourth photo. This is perfect for anything flat.
The main center compartment has a top zipper, which opens it completely so you can store your sunglasses plus their case, a cosmetic bag or your larger items.
As you can see, there are multiple compartments that make this bag an organizer's dream. There are two small side slide-in pockets, plus pen holders for two pens. It would seem that every storage need and ease of use has been provided for in this purse.
The final compartment is in the back, as shown in some photos. This is a deep somewhat narrow pocket, wide enough for a cell phone to slip into easily. For this back side of the bag, the pocket does not have a zipper or any sort of closure on the top.
The Purse measures 8 and 1/2 inches wide by 8 inches tall. It is 2 inches deep at the center bottom.
The front credit card pocket is 7 and 1/2 inches wide by 4 and 3/8 inches tall by 5/8 inches deep.
As the photos show, the vintage Brahmin leather purse is in Excellent Vintage Condition on all the exterior portions, including the front, back, bottom, all corners and the handle. There are no odors, stains, scratches, rubbed areas or rips.
The Brahmin gold tone metal and leather fob hangs from one side of the bag. This is the only part of the bag that shows any wear, with some darkening of the metal edges of the logo fob.
The handle is the older style, with a wider comfort strap on the top portion that would be on your shoulder. This 48 inch long handle has holes punched so you can adjust the length and there are swivel clasps on both ends of the strap.
This Brahmin purse is fully lined in all areas with a Brahmin logo traditional light tan fabric lining.
Although I don't have the original Brahmin storage bag for this purse, I will include a bonus cloth bag for your use when you aren't using this fabulous crossbody bag.
