Here is vintage Vernon Kilns oval vegetable bowl in the May Flower pattern. This pattern was produced from 1942-1953, and features a colorful hand-painted floral pattern on a cream/white background. Embossed edge. Measures 9.5" long by just over 7.25" wide. Made in California. In good vintage condition. There are the typical variations you see in hand-painted items, some utensil scratches from use, and a small brown spot on the top rim (photo 7) and a small bluish spot on the right rim (photo 6). There are also some marks on the bottom right rim of the bowl (last two photos), and 2 small chips on the bottom rim only (see photos 8-10). The bowl has been priced accordingly.
