This is a lovely set of velvet purses that look to be from the 30's or 40s. I believe they metal flowers that ran across the top, it looks like most have broken off and I believe the owner tried gluing little beaded versions as replacements. Its possible they were original to the design but I don't think so. Very sweet set none the less. The larger can hold a pair of glasses, see measurements below.

Other than the missing flowers they are in very good vintage with just minor signs of wear and age.
