Size: L Waist: 35" flat, to fit 34" Hip: 48" flat, to fit up to 46" maximum--or smaller, for a looser fit Length: 23" from waist to side hem Inseam length: 8. 5" (with long rise) Rise: 17" in front and 19" in back Label: Paddle and Saddle Sportswear Fine-ribbed, woven stripes of sky blue and white cotton makes for perfectly summery, ladies 1950s Bermuda shorts! These deadstock, unworn, long shorts have wide legs that end just above the knee. The elongating, vertical pintucks on each front leg create the look of an ironed crease. The fitted waistband has narrow belt loops, and a left side-seam closure, fastened with a button and a metal zipper. The right side seam has a slit pocket, hooray! The crisp, lightweight cotton fabric is unlined. In excellent to mint condition, these classically preppy, 1950s Bermuda shorts were never worn, and have no issues to note. They do have a very mid-century vintage fit, with a high waist and a long rise; please check the measurements for details. Although the shorts came to us with what looks like a matching belt, it is actually about 2-3 inches larger than the shorts waist. We will include it, in case you'd like to alter it to fit.
