With stunning designer details, this Marie-Martine Paris Diffusion Amarotico 2 piece blazer and slim-cut skirt set is beautifully made. A beaded sun, stars and rays design in gold, silver, white, black and bronze colors accents the jacket front. "Denim blue" in color, there are double stitched border accents in the same brownish thread color used for Levis. This vintage set makes a statement and is comfortable to wear too, what more can you ask for?

Size 38 in European sizing is shown on the label, however please use the measurements below to determine your best fit. Note that when I took these I did not stretch the fabric at all and there will be some "wiggle room" when you actually wear these pieces due to the slight stretching quality of the method in which the fabric was sewn.

For the blazer:
Shoulder to shoulder is 15 and 1/2 inches.
Sleeve length is 22 and 1/2 inches, with the under arm length at 16 inches.
Bust is 36 and 1/2 inches.
Waist is 32 inches.
Full length is 26 and 1/2 inches.
Hemline width is 41 and 1/2 inches.

For the skirt:
Waist is 26 inches.
Hip is 38 inches.
Full length is 24 and 1/4 inches.
Hemline width is 37 inches.

In Excellent Vintage condition, this set personifies glamorous couture quality in a unique and chic style that makes a definite fashion statement.

The blazer has full length sleeves that are very slightly puffed and formed by the double stitching details. In front the blazer can be closed by snapping one or more of the five cleverly disguised denim blue large snaps.

It is a collarless style blazer with front slight V-shaped panels that will fit down about hip level.

Featuring a classic shape, the skirt is pencil style fitted, with a back zipper and a top hook and eye.

There is no fabric content label, however I had this dry cleaned and due to the beading, that is how I would suggest you handle future care.

Probably the best way to describe the fabric is to say it has some stretch, which I assume is due to the manner in which it is stitched. In the detail photos you may be able to see the slightly puckered effect of the black stitching on the blue denim color fabric.

This suit was Made in France during the 1980's and the quality of the workmanship is simply top notch, down to every detail.

Of course either piece of this set can be worn with other garments. Both the skirt and the jacket are versatile and easy to wear as mix and match fashion.

This Marie-Martine 2-piece set has no stains, odors, holes, faded spots or unraveling. All of the beading is intact. The cuffs, neckline and the underarms are clean.

Likewise, the skirt is in excellent condition and the back zipper is in perfect working order. There is no lining in either garment.
