Even without knowing the Elie Wacs designer name, you would immediately reach for this as a stylish vintage skirt and blazer set. Quality of workmanship is so apparent. With a cheerful white polka dot print on bright red, I would rank this 1980's Elie Wacs blazer and skirt 10 on a 10 scale. A red, white and blue ILGWU Union Label is inside, which dates it at as a 1974 to early 1980's garment.

There is a size label showing size 6, however please use the measurements below to make sure that it will fit you as sizing has changed over the years.

For the blazer:
Shoulder to shoulder is 16 inches.
Sleeve length is 21 inches, with the under arm length at 14 and 1/2 inches.
Bust size is 37 and 1/2 inches.
Full length of the blazer is 23 inches.
Waist is 34 inches.
Width at the base is 41 inches.

For the skirt:
Waist is 28 inches
Hip is 37 and 1/2 inches
Length is 22 and 1/2 inches
Hemline width is 36 inches

As can be seen in the photos, this is a blazer that is fashioned to show off your figure.
The Princess cut darts and seams make for a fabulous fit.
It has three quarter sleeves and a fold down collar.
Because this is from the 1980's there are internal shoulder pads.
Fully lined, the skirt has a side zipper and is in the traditional slim pencil style. The blazer length will come to just slightly below your waist for a very flattering fit.
Any fabric content label is gone, so my guess is that this was on the paper labels that were removed. This appears to be a very good quality cotton and the complete lining may be an acetate. I had it dry cleaned and would recommend dry cleaning for any future needs.
Three large front buttons are covered with the same white on red polka dot fabric.
The jacket may be worn fully or partially open or left open completely.
It is immaculately clean and the bright colors are true. The suit is in Excellent Vintage condition.
There are no stains, odors, or holes and the cuffs, neckline and underarms are clean.
