Victorian Style Black Cotton Print Shirt and Skirt - Blouses and skirt sets were called "dresses", a one piece was a gown during the Victorian era. This set to my eye appears to be made in the 1970s or so when many people were wearing old fashioned clothing for the bi-centennial. The fabric could be older, has a 40s/50s look to it. However, I am not an expert and have only handled 10 or so Victorian garments. This may be Victorian/Edwardian with nylon zipper and new buttons added, but it is much less likely.
Thin sturdy cotton material with small white bow print and white lace accents. Button down blouse. Skirt has nylon zipper and nice ruffle element on back, almost has the appearance of a bustle, but is not.
5'8" mannequin - May fit S/M - Blouse has 42" bust, 38" waist, 22" long, 16. 5" shoulders, 25" sleeves. Skirt has maximum 30" waist and is 41" long.
Note, cuffs are fitted without buttons. I have no problem fitting my hand through, someone with large hands may have difficulty. It is 4 inch across fitted at cuff/wrist so 8" wrist.
Nice condition - just a bit worn behind skirt button, could be reinforced with a tiny patch if it becomes more damaged, is holding firm now.
