50s Black Velvet Cocktail Dress Rhinestone Pearl Trim$75.00
Pearls and rhinestones trim the pretty, scalloped neckline of this 1950s cocktail dress in deep black velvet. The two hip pockets are also trimmed with vintage bling, and have scalloped edges to match the neckline. The cap-sleeved bodice has small shoulder pads, and darts shaping the bust and waist. The skirt has small pleats from the front waist seam to the inner corner of each pocket, and a back slit at the hem. The soft, taffeta-backed black rayon velvet is unlined. The dress fastens with a metal zipper in the side seam. In very good condition, this classic mid-century cocktail dress has a few scuffs to the surface/nap of the velvet on the lower portion of the skirt, as its only issue to note.
