This is a beautiful lux black silk velvet swing style opera coat from the 20 to 30s. The coat is simple in silhouette with a large shawl collar and ruffles. The coat hangs straight and open with no fastening. While the silhouette is simple, the coat is decked out in beautiful gold lame net lace that covers the entire shawl collar and bands on the sleeves. The lining of this coat is also fantastic! It is striped black silk and gold lame.

Condition

The coat overall is in wonderful condition with only a few little areas of damage to the gold lame net lace. Otherwise, the coat is perfect and just a stunning example of art deco fashion.

Sizing:

The coat is going to fit up to the measurements provided and is meant to hang open and loose. One thing to note is that having the lame as the lining is not the softest fabric to have next to the skin, it's a little course.
