From Communists to Hippies they've all worn the peasant blouse. Wide neck, voluminous sleeves, embroidery, sheer fabric. Tucked in, not tucked in, cut offs or a full skirt- everyone should have at least one of these in their wardrobe. This is a doozy.

Black sheer cotton poly embroidered with turquoise and GOLD threads, like not yellow gold but like Goldmember gold. Style of the embroidery leads me to believe it's European? The cotton fabric is a little pilled but it's a blend and will hold up really well over the years. Nice no tuck flat hem with splits on both sides for movement.

The elastic is nearly blown around the sleeves (nearly!) but it hangs nice and the string around the neck is a little frayed, I was going to trim it up but what 'll suggest you do is put it on, tie it where you want it- then you trim the tips from there. Both these issues were considered in the price.
