This brooch is made of black celluloid set in a sterling silver, black and white enamel back. Set in the middle is a 1.25 x .75 inch, carved floral pattern black celluloid piece. It is set in a 1 x 2 inch, sterling silver backing with an art deco design black and white enamel pattern. The 1.5 inch roll over safety clasp pin on back still locks closed, but please note, the roll over area is very small. It is a very typical flapper design of the day made in its hey-day around 1925. It is great condition with no chips in the enamel or celluloid.
