This macrame purse is a handmade creation by someone in the 1970s who used a purse-making kit by Accento Craft USA. It’s a very nicely made bag, with thick knots, a lucite handle and a gauze fabric interior. The material used feels like an acrylic yarn. There are two marbleized plastic rings on each side with decorative dark brown wooden beads in the center. The large lucite handle is clear and has a place on the bottom for personalization. The person who made the bag placed their initials there – DMR. Could probably be removed and you can add your own! There is a zipper on the top. The lining is a white gauze textured polyester fabric. There are a few small spots on the bottom of the lining. Overall the bag is in very good condition, showing the expected signs of some use, but nothing that takes away from the cool look and function of the purse.
