Wonderful Double Day edition of Birds of America Edited by T. Gilbert Pearson the then President of the Audubon Society. Large Lovely Book w 514 color illustrations by Louis Agazziz Fuertes originally produced in 1917. This edition was published in 1936, and I believe the 9 below the copyright means the "9th printing". Also includes black and white drawings over 1000 total illustrations!

In very good condition overall, the spine has separated from the text (see photo) but still tight and there is an inscription on the front end page. Otherwise quite good shape for it's age. Large book, at about 9 x 12.
