Everything about this skirt suit is dripping with the elegance of a Hitchcock heroine. Made in the early 1960s by iconic midcentury American label Betty Rose, it includes a jacket with a 60s swing shape, and a matching pencil skirt. In a gorgeously textured olive green bouclé, the jacket has a luxe brown mink collar. The jacket is very wearable on its own, with jeans or over more ladylike dresses. The shape is 1960s, with oversized buttons and cropped box shape, made flattering by darts. It features bracelet length sleeves, and banded details at the hem and cuffs. The skirt features a satin panel at the top, as it's meant to be worn with the jacket and allows a jacket or sweater layered over to lie flat without creating bulk. Skirt closes in the back with a zipper.
