Beautiful Vintage 50s Little Black Cocktail Party Dinner Dress - This beautiful black dress has an attached semi sheer chiffon bloused overlay with a pointed collar that matches the fabric of the dress and can be worn up or down. The blouse has dolman sleeves and split style turn back cuffs which also match the dress fabric, and a keyhole opening in back. The dress underneath has spaghetti straps, a sweetheart bust line, a cummerbund style waist with a same fabric bow adornment in the center, the skirt has kick vent at the bottom of the hem in back, and the back of dress also has a metal zipper and hook and eye closures on top. Only remnant of an AFL-CIO union label remains that was used in garments between 1955-1963 along one of the side seams. Fabric content is unknown. Dress fabric feels like raw textured slubbed silk, or similar, lining feels like satin, and blouse overlay is a silky chiffon. No flaws to note.
