To make a stylish statement for any dressy event, wear this glamorous MODI fully beaded 2-piece blue and white set. Celebration-ready, it was Made in India. The outer fabric is cobalt blue silk, beaded with clear sequins, white bugle beads and faux white pearls. Front hidden hooks and eyes can be used to close the blazer or it can be worn open. A back zipper with a top hook and eye fastens the skirt in place.

Both size labels show size Small, however please use these measurements to determine your fit.

For the blazer:
Shoulder to shoulder ~~~ 15 and 1/2 inches.
Sleeve length ~~~ 23 inches, with the under arm length at 16 and 1/2 inches.

As you can see in the photos, it is a very dressy evening suit, with a fully beaded blazer jacket, which has long sleeves. Fully beaded as well, the skirt has the same white and blue bead pattern as the jacket. It is a pencil shape short skirt, with a back zipper.

Both the beaded blazer jacket and skirt are 100% silk for the exterior and 100% rayon for the lining. They are each fully lined. Clearly the exterior and the interior show the quality of the workmanship, which is simply top notch, even down to the finishing for the seams.

In Excellent Vintage condition, there are no stains, odors, holes or unraveling anywhere. All of the beading appears to be intact. The cuffs, neckline, lining and underarms are clean. Likewise, the skirt is in Excellent Vintage Condition and the back zipper slides easily.

Freshly cleaned, this comes to you from a home with no pets and no smokers.

There were, of course, shoulder pads originally. The owner removed those, but kept them, so I will package those up with the suit in case you choose to re-attach them, which is easy to do.

Most women would probably wear a pretty white or cobalt blue camisole under this jacket to have the option to wear it open or closed.
