Made by Richere in Hong Kong, this vintage 7 and 1/4 by 6 and 7/8 inch rectangular shaped creamy white beaded evening handbag is fully beaded and wonderfully retro in style. Intricate beading is an overall floral design done with small round white opaque seed beads on a background of aurora borealis white sequins.

Both sides of the bag are beaded in the same design and the bottom of the bag is also beaded as you can see in the photos.

Fully lined in a white shiny fabric, there is one inside small side pocket.

The top clasp is the kiss type in gold tone metal and hinges on this beaded bag allows you to fully open it, as shown in the photos.

Lengthwise the bag is 7 and 1/4 inches long by 6 and 7/8 inches wide. It has a depth of 1 inch and the handle is 13 inches long, for a drop of just over 6 inches. The gold tone metal chain is hide-away, so the bag can also be used as a clutch.

In close-up photos I tried to show the detail of the bead work and how the sequins have that aurora borealis shine that will pick up different colors. All of this beading is intact.

I am giving this vintage beaded bag two scores. The outside beading and the drop strap are in Excellent Vintage Condition.

For the inside fabric lining there is a minor issue with small signs of age and prior use on the shiny lining, however none of those have gone through to the outside fabric. The lining has no tears or odors and all seams are intact. Therefore the inside is rated as Very Good Vintage.

This lower rating for the inside is not be a deal breaker for you with this otherwise lovely vintage retro evening purse. Of course, I want to make you aware of it and the fact I have marked the price accordingly lower due to the interior fabric stains.
