Made by Morton Myles for The Warrens, this off-the-shoulder 2-piece set is a 1980's glam to the max statement outfit. Glamorous to the max, with fully beaded black sequins and gold metallic cord trim, it has a slim skirt and long sleeve scoop neckline off-shoulder blazer. Celebration-ready, it was Made in Korea. Fully lined, it is polyester fabric. Hidden hooks and eyes, plus hidden snaps, close the front. Five decorative gold tone metallic and clear rhinestone buttons add even more pizzazz to the blazer. A back zipper, with a top hook and eye, fastens the skirt in place.

Both size labels show size 6, however please use these measurements to determine your fit. Do not rely on the size shown because sizing standards have changed so much over the years

For the blazer:
Sleeve length ~~~ 22 inches.
Armhole opening ~~~ 20 inches.
Bust ~~~ 32 inches.
Waist ~~~ 28 inches.
Full length ~~~ 19 inches.
Hemline width ~~~ 36 inches.

For the skirt:

As you can see in the photos, it is a very dressy event-ready suit, with a fully sequined blazer jacket, which has long sleeves. The skirt has the same overall sequin pattern as the jacket. It is a pencil shape short skirt, with a back zipper and a back center slit.

Each piece is fully lined. Clearly the exterior and the interior show the quality of the workmanship, which is simply top notch, even down to the finishing for the seams, the gold braid trim and the black satin cord at the hemline of the skirt.

In Very Good Vintage condition, there are no stains, odors, holes or unraveling in either the top or the skirt. The cuffs, neckline, lining and underarms are clean. The back zipper slides easily.

Almost all of the sequins appear to be intact. With so many overall sequins, any that may be missing are not readily apparent and do not distract at all from the overall design. Although I don't think you will be disappointed in the quality of this set, I have marked it lower in price than a skirt from this iconic 1980's designer would be if it was in Excellent Condition.

This off-the-shoulder style was the height of fashion in the late 1980's and early 1990's. Morton Myles does the look very well, with comfortable soft satin bands at the shoulders.
