Beautiful cowboy hat in a sort of tobacco Brown. It's hard to say exactly when this is from as this company is no longer in business and was very small. There is not a lot of information to be found. I have read that it was a subsidiary of Bailey. It says "Bandera Hats Fort Worth, Texas", and "Champion Roper Don McLaughlin The Ranch Room Fort Worth". Don won several calf and steer roping championships from the 50's to the early 70's. The hat is a size 7. I wear a 7 1/8 and it is tight on me so I believe it runs true to size, however it can be re-blocked to fit you perfectly. I can find no stains though I believe the inside crown of the head fabric is discolored. It is darker than the rest of the fabric however I do not know if it ever was the same color. The headband that you see in the picture has been added by the original owner. Underneath is just a thin coordinating ribbon. This hat only had one owner prior to me, and I have never worn it.
