This is an Aynsley, Rare 1930s, Orange bone china teacup with matching saucer.

The teacup is trimmed in gold on the scalloped rim. The handle and base, are completely gold. InsideThe inner cup has a fine gold trim at about a ¼” from the top of the cup and a thicker gold trim followed by a fruit display of peaches, blackberries and plums. The matching saucer is orange with a delicately scalloped gold trimmed edge, a gold trim ¼” from the edge and a white center, and the base is white. The bone china teacup and saucer were made in England. This beautiful tea cup and saucer have the Aynsley Crown Mark and a #28. The cup is marked 2480 c.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The cup measures about 3-1/2" round. From the end of the handle to the edge of the cup is 4-1/2". The height of the cup is 2-1/2". The saucer is 5-3/4 inches in diameter. The cup is in perfect condition. There is a slight roughness in the gold on the saucer which seems to be a smudge, but the gold paint is still intact. Otherwise nothing else notable.
