Here is a beautiful wounded bird. Sumptuous silk lined 1950’s dress. I haven’t tried cleaning because I’m a bit swamped right now but if it doesn’t sell “as is” I’m sure I will get around to it. She still photographs really well and because of the color, the light staining on the front almost looks like part of the pattern. Some fraying near waist as seen in pics. Missing belt. And one of the frog closures has a bit of unraveling as seen in pics. Right shoulder also has a fray area. Lined in silk and beautifully tailored. A really gorgeous silhouette. Looks very typical 40’s to me but I found a similar one in perfect condition (swipe to see) that says 50’s 60’s. Here’s one that needs a little love at a fraction of the cost.
