Art Deco Royal Staffordshire Pottery Wilkinson Ltd 6 piece hand painted dinnerware set. This beautiful and rare art deco set comprises of 5 plates and 1 tray.
Each piece is hand painted with elegant yet bold and colorful designs. The pieces have antique white backgrounds with gold rims. They have light blue accents around their edges which offsets the orange and yellow floral designs perfectly. The famed art deco designer Clarice Cliff worked for A J Wilkinson and the color palette leads us to believe she may have been involved in the design of these pieces. The backsides are marked with the “Royal Staffordshire Pottery, AJ Wilkinson Ltd, England” emblem and are hand numbered "6". Whether you are a collector of just love the art deco artwork on these pieces....they will bring great beauty to your dining room!

Condition:
Excellent antique condition. The porcelain has minor crazing consistent with age. When you run your finger over the crazing, it is smooth. There are no actual cracks or chips. Hand painting and gold accents are in great condition with little to no fading or ware. The coloring is still extremely vibrant and the gold metallic retains it's luster.
