Art Deco Era Farber Bros Krome Kraft Drinks Set

Oh my gosh, you guys... this set makes me weak in the knees! It is such a special little collection, made by Farber Bros in the 1930's, it is part of their patented Krome Kraft collection, from the Tally Ho line. It was a clever collection; the glass was made by Cambridge Glass Company, and it is designed so that the glass and the chrome can be separated. That way, if a piece of glass broke, or you wanted to change out the glass colors you absolutely could. This is such a delightful set, the decanter holds 14 ounces of your liquid of choice, which will go a long way in filling each of the 8 tiny roly poly cups; they hold less than 1/2 ounce each!

~CONDITION:

Excellent condition. I have to look at these as being 80 years old and it really impresses me that they're even here, to be honest. There is a split on the chrome base on the decanter (pictured) and on one of the glasses, which is fairly common on this pattern, due to the design. They split in the thinnest/most stressed portion of the metal. The chrome bases show light wear, but no excessive pocking or scratches. The glass is all completely free of chips or cracks. I have gone ahead and hand washed and dried the whole set in preparation for its' fabulous next stop in life.
