Antique art deco Royal Cauldron tea service set, hand made in England. This elegant, colorful, whimsical set includes 8 pieces: 4 tea cup and 4 saucers. The porcelain is adorned with hand painted, stylized floral patterns wrapped in scrollwork and bordered with a detailed geometric trellis design. Even the handles are hand painted in multiple colors! The rips of the tea cups and edges of the plates have subtle scalloping and are finished in a regal metallic gold. The undersides are marked "Royal Cauldron England Est 1774 Victoria" and are numbered by hand in the same metallic gold as the rims. They remade these in the 1950s-1960s. However, based on the markings these are from the first and original run in the early 1920s! Making them extra rare and special! Cheers!

Condition:
Excellent! The porcelain has minor crazing consistent with age. When you run your finger over the crazing, it is smooth. There are no actual cracks or chips. Hand painting and gold accents are in superb condition with little to no fading or ware.
