1920s embossed aluminum eyeglasses case to go with them. This unsigned case is lined in what feels like velour. The embossed design is really pretty and it's on both sides. It has a spring loaded push button clasp. You push the little brass lever to open and close it.
It measures 6 x 2-1/4", and it is in overall good condition with a biggish dent and some dings on the bottom part. You can see in the photos. In spite of those issues, I think it's a great vintage piece that will good in the big picture, esp since the dents are on the bottom. These kinds of cases have been around since the early 1900s and very hard to find.
These vintage ones are very hard to find. This will not hold the oversized eyeglasses. The glasses that fit in it (my own glasses) are 5 1/2" long and 2" wide. The case is light to carry.
