This was super hard to photograph. Its so much better than the pictures! Simply lovely cotton organdy tea dress from the 1880s-1900s- Victorian Dress with Applied Needlework. This would have had a slip to go underneath.

It may be somewhat stiff due to age. Very pretty. Blue embroidered daisy applied needlework centers surrounded by white daisy petals. The embroidery is a scallop pattern around the skirt of the dress and matched a scallop hem. Gathered drop waist. Neckline has a super interesting stitch in blue and white. This is shown on the mannequin with a white slip underneath. Would have been better with a plain slip!
