This extremely rare bodice dates back to the Victorian era (more specifically, my best guess is circa 1860s). It features a gorgeous black-on-black silk brocade fabric, with a subtle floral motif, and fully boned interior. I loved the exaggerated mutton sleeves and the bow details at the neck and hem. Cord details at the back hide the hook and eye closures all the way down, and that same detail is echoed at the shoulders.

Great antique condition; I cannot emphasize how difficult it is to find clothing from this era in wearable condition at all. It has pin holes and some fading throughout; I am selling as-is, and it is still in very wearable condition as-is.
