Here for your consideration is an old hand painted covered cheese dish. This is marked Stoke on Trent Empire Works England. This does have some damage but displays well. The cover has a hairline crack on the inside lid. The tray also has a crack and some wear to the paint. The paintings on the cover are very good. the tray measures 9x7" and the cover is 7x5" and is 3. 5" tall. .
