Antique, likely Edwardian, brooch featuring a ruby red, faceted glass “stone” surrounded by smaller red rhinestones which look foil backed. The metalwork is architectural and presents a vine motif. Even the prongs on the central stone are little leaves! The C clasp dates it to somewhere between 1900 - 1930. The back pin is a little bent but otherwise this beauty is in fantastic condition for its age. 2&1/4” x 7/8”. There’s a brilliant sparkle to it which is a challenge to capture in a photo. It is truly gorgeous.
