Here for your consideration is a unique pair of metal mesh twisted wire trivet mats with glass beads . They seem to be some kind of possibly brass metal and the beads are all glass. The larger one measures 12x8" and the smaller on is 6. 5x5". They both have an aged patina but they are in good solid usable antique condition.
