fraternal order velvet cap, Odd Fellows. They have some interesting garb for sure. Was not able to find the rest of the outfit at this sale. The inside of the velvet cap says; guard of tent. Constructed with about 6 velvet panels and a velvet button on crown, hard brim decorated with gold braid. The inside is a red linen type fabric which is labeled 'guard of tent'.

measures: 8'' across on the inside

condition: the velvet button is losing some of it's velvet and the inside has some  tears. Possibly missing a patch from front of hat.
