This is a wonderful piece! It does have some wear and isn't in the best shape. If used, great care should be taken not to distress the leather any more than necessary. Sold as-is.

There is no key, but it is not needed to be used, only to lock. The latch closes and the buckles on each end are functional.

Just to clarify, the leather has a lot of wear on the edges. It is functional, but may not last if used a lot. A wonderful piece for display or very light stage/film use.
