This gauze type of material is very thin. Hand sewn undergarment. Even the mending as seen in the photo was done with care. I purchased 5 of these and they are all different. Some condition issue on this one is the side seam has come undone (easy sew) The research I have found looks like this would have been worn under a corset. Maybe why the thin spots or holes on some. Over 100 years old!
