This is a pair of late 19th century French steel cut shoe buckles. Faceted cut steel shimmers like diamonds in a dramatic art nouveau rectangular design. Worn as shoe buckles, the beautiful pieces could be worn as a scarf tie, accent on a belt, or other creative ways. The backs have slender bars marked Made in France.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with wear and use. Some patina on the back bars.
