Early 1900s German SIlver, gold mesh handbag, evening purse with a place to monogram it. In Good condition, for how old this bag is. There are no holes, tears or snares, but the backside of the frame has some discoloration where the gold has rubbed off and the frame closes in the middle, but there is a slight space on each end. It doesn't affect how secure your items will be, nor does it affect the overall look when wearing it (please see the last 3 photos). The roomy gold purse has a very pretty decorative cutout framing with a blue beaded snap closure. It has a nice length link chain handle.

The center of the frame has a round blank center, perfect for an initial. The inside of the frame says, German Silver, soldered mesh. It measures 7" long, 7" tall and 3" wide. The chain handle drops down 7" from the center of the chain handle.

Wonderful evening bag or a collector's special bag.
