Antique English Beaver top hat Satchell & Son hatters of London Liverpool, by special appointment to the Late Prince Consort. Groom wedding, Steampunk, Mens hats, gender neutral wedding. The inner band of the hat is 22" in circumference and it is 5 1/2" tall. Fairly Good antique condition with wear to the fur, tears to the under rim and edges and inner leather band was mostly unstitched and glued back in. How to measure your head for a top hat:
Traditionally top hats are worn higher than most other hats. For the proper look it would ideally sit dead straight around one inch above your ear. The brim should never touch the ear. To find your proper size Snuggly measure with a flex tape around your head 1 inch above your ear. Then compare to those you are looking at online.
