Edwardian Antique White Linen Shift Chemise Pintucking Lace$145.00
This is a darling Edwardian era shirt made of a white linen. The shirt has a scoop neckline that is made of a beautiful embroidered lace. It is also trimmed in a lace ruffle along the neckline and the bust line. The top of the shirt is covered in just stunning teeny tiny pin tucking that points down towards the center. On the right side, there are the original owners' initials written in pen. The nightgown has fun sleeves where it is almost sleeveless but it has flaps that are attached only to the underarms and are like dress protectors. The body of the shift is loose fitting and flows to about the knees, with the hem edge decorated in a lovely embroidered flounce.
Condition:
The shift is in great condition with no flaws to note. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
Size:
A note on antique shifts. They are meant to be quite loose fitting and the most size restrictive areas are the armholes. Please look at that measurement to make sure it will fit.
If you have any questions I am happy to help.
