Antique Edwardian Edwardian 10s Black Wool Velvet Double Breasted Trapeze Swing Coat$350.00
Antique Edwardian 1900s 1910s Black Wool + Velvet Double Breasted Trapeze Swing Coat!
Gorgeous and unique 1900s peacoat! Never seen a style quite like this!
Features:
- sturdy, thick wool body
- velvet stripes going down the front and back of shoulders
- 4 thick, sturdy inverted pleats total, under shoulders to create a flared swing coat silhouette
- double breasted with 6 ornately carved grey iridescent mother-of-pearl buttons
- puffed shoulders
- sleeves are constructed with a curve in them
- upturned pointed cuffs with decorative top stitched lines
- fully lined in black silky satin
Very, very good antique condition! There are a few extremely light, tiny spots at the cuffs. A couple of teeny-tiny holes. These are not noticeable when worn, only under close inspection, and are mentioned for the sake of accuracy.
Can fit a variety of measurements due to the swing shape. Please keep in mind that since this is an antique piece, it does run a little narrow in the shoulders / arms, and would best fit a small to medium, in my opinion.
Shoulders: 14" from seam to seam / 18" from shoulder tip to tip
Bust: 38"
Waist: 46"
Length: 30"
Model is 5' 9" and measures 33-27-39.
Accessories not included.
