Antique Edwardian Blouse - Lace Baby Blue Details

1900’s cotton blouse in blue & white.

Incredible Edwardian top with breathtaking lace and subtle baby blue details. It buttons up the back with real functioning buttons that are hidden by a flap of fabric, but it also has decorative, nonfunctional little buttons on the chest, shoulders, and sleeves. I think the subtle blue details on the sleeves and neckline make this piece extra special. This is the perfect antique blouse to incorporate a bit of turn of the century romance into a modern wardrobe.

Condition: Overall very good vintage condition. There is one stain inside the button flap towards the bottom of the back of the blouse, but it cannot be seen when the blouse is buttoned up -- see last photo. Some of the gathering at the waist seems to be uneven, though this isn't super noticeable and would likely be pretty easy to fix. I believe one decorative button is missing because the left sleeve has three while the right sleeve only has two. A few teeeeny tiny brown specks that you really have to look for and one tear of less than an inch along a seam. Other than that, it's pristine. Pretty impressive for 120ish years!

Measurements (taken flat and doubled)

-- Note the neck measurement in particular. The rest can fit quite loosely, but the neck measurement makes it more of an XS. Pictured on a Size 2 dress form.

Neck: 13 inches

Waist: 32 inches

Bust: 36 inches
