Antique cast iron 10KG balancing scale, hand painted with floral tole motifs. On one side of a scale is a removable bowl with one side intended for scooping. The other side is just a flat platform surface for weights to be placed. The piece is very heavy and solid and is in good working condition. There are manufacturer markings that read "DOFT" "DR" and "44"only. These antique scales were used in general stores, hardware stores, candy shops, farms, as well as at home. You can use it as a scale or as decor!
