late 1930s - early 1940s cast brass locket with a wonderful Victorian style love knot. A popular theme in Victorian jewelry, the love knot (or lover's knot) symbolizes an unbreakable bond and eternal connection between the giver and the wearer. The locket opens from the top and features a place for a photo inside. Chain closes with a spring clasp.

The locket is about 1. 5" x 1. 5"

No maker's mark.

Condition: Great condition. There is a bit of a gap where the two sides don't completely meet at the bottom by the hinge. The front of the locket has some verdigris patina but I feel this adds to the charm.
