Draped in Devorè. Stunning Antique 1920’s abalone Devorè velvet duster with fur trim. A hand-sewn incredible time capsule, that is also 100% completely wearable. Wowie.
This piece was recently acquired from a 5th generation Portland woman whose antique/vintage collection is unlike any I have seen.. she was kind enough to let some of her pieces go, & I’m happy to have this beauty in the studio for now, & help it find it’s next home.

100% hand-sewn, no machine work, sans the yoke reinforcement
Devorè (does not feel like silk, could be a rayon blend)
Fur trim (best guess is mink)

Excellent antique condition (there are some areas of darning & fur trim inconsistencies, all minor & add to charm, does not effect wear)
