Swing style, with large buttons up the front and a peter pan style collar. Bell sleeves, with a tapered empire waist, and intricate floral embroidery all up the hem and sleeve cuffs. The inside body of the coat is lined in a sturdy cotton eyelet, however the sleeves were lined in a more slippery fabric (presumably to make it easier to get on and off) and it was not as strong, so it has torn in a number of places (sleeve linings torn). There is a little discoloration around the collar, though I never wore makeup, so it may freshen up with a dry cleaning. And lastly there is a spot by one of the front pockets that is just a bit worn, and some general pilling from wear.

Bust on this measures 36", waist 34", hip 43", length 33".

This is my all time favorite coat from Anthropologie, from their golden age of stunning vintage inspired pieces in the early 2000s. I coveted this coat from afar, and was surprised by my (now) husband with this beauty one year as a gift! I believe this coat is circa 2004/2005. If I'd had daughters to pass this beauty onto, I wouldn't let it go, however it will likely never fit me again and I'd love to find it another home. It's a very rare coat, and impossible to find (trust me, I've tried to find a replacement for almost 8 years!)
