These wonderfully geometric hoop earrings remind me of vintage David Webb Jewelry, thanks to the chunky stones and bold contrast. The considerable amethyst stones are prong-set in gold vermeil (sterling silver plated with a substantial amount of genuine gold). The hoop's back interior features the same design, so that from the front, you see the same color and sparkle. Each stone is separated by rows on sterling silver filigree work, mimicking pavé diamonds. I love how that work extends on the side of the hoop, for shine from all angles. Each hoop measures 7/8" long, and closes with a lever for pierced ears. The gold vermeil is safe for sensitive skin.  Please note, them gemstone has not been laboratory tested, but I do believe it is a lab-made amethyst.
