Circa 80's AIGNER BASKET Handbag

This is a Lovely Basket Handbag done in light colored wicker and highlighted with Aqua. The Lid, Handles, and trim are in Aqua. It features gold tone rivets, latch, and feet. The latch has the iconic logo styled to resemble the horseshoe which is the universal symbol of Good Luck.

Some History of the AIGNER Brand - Etienne Aigner opened his first showroom in Manhattan in 1959. The handbags featured the sign of Good Luck as their Logo. They created a World Wide Brand reflecting the life of pleasure, savoir vivre, and sheer style.

Near MINT Condition - This handbag looks Brand New. It has been lovingly used and stored over the years. The only foibles I see are shown in the photographs above. Photograph #7 shows some small light spotting on the lining from age. This is very minor. In the next to last photograph you will see a few spots on the lid just from storage. This is a Great Addition to Your Handbag Wardrobe.
