Oh, my--this incredible African kente fabric dress is jaw-dropping! On the right woman, I think time would stand still.

The fabric is printed cotton in bright tones of yellow, black, green, white, and blue. I would guess there is symbolism to the print, but don't know about it.

This stunning African cloth dress is sleeveless, covers the bust with a square neckline, has darts, 4 stays for shaping the bodice, a tiny waist, buttons up the front, and a full skirt. The back is completely black cotton with a fantastic hand-painted gold zig zag pattern near the top.

CONDITION: Excellent condition - It appears this tailored African fabric dress was never worn.
