This is a noted first edition of A History of the United States to 1876 published in 1959. It id fully illustrated with a cloth cover. Authored by T. Harry Williams, Richard N. Current and Frank Freidel.

In fair condition overall, some loosens to the spine and a lot of notations and underlining, some in pink ink, some in black ink throughout. Please see all photos. Still very readable and the spine has a lovely design that will display well.
