Vintage Mark Twain book in original green slipcover. A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court, 1942. The famous novel by Mark Twain features a time-traveling New Englander (Yankee) ,mechanic who, thanks to a blow to the head, ends up in Camelot and visits the England of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. He is condemned to death, but is able to save himself by posing as a magician and becoming the Minister to King Arthur. This attractive Heritage Press edition in slipcase includes illustrations by Honoré Guilbeau, an introduction by Carl Van Doren and a preface by the author.
Book Condition: Excellent no issues, pages clean, no bends or marks, look's barely read.
Slipcase Condition: Has water ring front and back with some wear on spine edges. It's sturdy though. Red cloth.
