As I've gotten older I have learned to appreciate both the comfort and elegance of a knit set. This is a 1990's example by Miss Dorby. Black boucle-style knit shell with white trim at the neckline and arm openings. The shell has a boxy fit and is cropped to the natural waist. Pulls over the head, no closures. Straight silhouette skirt with a wide elastic waistband. Teeny slit at the back. White trim at the hem. Both pieces are unlined but they are opaque.
