Focus is on two white stripes set upon a black background.

Two white stripes create a V neck and accent the hem of the sweater as well as cuff of sleeves. They accent the back as well.

Front has two pockets with one on each side of front and accented with two white stripes to finish the design look as well as 3 buttons on each sleeve.

Six gold metal buttons stamped with the Ballantyne name descend down the front. One extra button sewn into the inside of the cardigan.
